Area Attractions
The beaches of the PEI National Park are only an easy walk away! Stanhope Golf Course is 1.5 km from the cottage and Rosebud Cottage is ideally central for trips to the many other high-calibre golf courses on the Island, including Crowbush and Belvedere.
You can walk to the nearby fishing wharf at the mouth of Covehead Bay - where you can charter deep-sea fishing excursions, eat at the seafood diner, or buy fresh fish at the little market. Fine dining is available, 6 km in either direction and you are only 15 km NE of the capital city of Charlottetown.
Covehead Bay is popular for kayaking, canoeing, boating & wind-surfing. There are canoe, kayak & bike rentals in the area - and the perennial favourite New Glasgow Lobster suppers are only 15 minutes by car.
Cottage Amenities
Spacious and sunny, Rosebud Cottage is 1000 square feet with 3 bedrooms - 2 with double beds and one with queen. All linens are provided, including beach towels. Beach chairs, toys and cooler are provided. Plus there are lots of books and games. Colour TV & satellite, VCR, and Nintendo are included. There is a full bath and the kitchen is fully equipped including microwave & dishwasher. The open concept kitchen, dining & living area opens onto a screened patio - and front verandah - bringing the outdoors in whenever you like. A BBQ is provided and there is a propane fireplace. Rates/Bookings
Rosebud Cottage is available by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. The base rate for high season (mid-June to mid-September) is $1095 (Cdn.) per week plus taxes. Our off-season rate is $600 per week. The base rate covers a party of four, after which each additional adult adds $20. Rosebud Cottage is always fully booked by about the end of April, so please inquire soon about the week(s) of your choice. A deposit of $400 will hold your reservation for you. Payment by cheque or cash only; receipts will be provided.
